Padel Court Dimensions
Want to install a padel court? Here are the required dimensions according to the International Padel Federation (FIP):
- Length: 20 meters.
- Width: 10 meters.
- Minimum height clearance: 6 meters.
What other aspects should be considered? Among them, the padel net should be placed at the center of the court, dividing it into two equal playing areas, with a height of 0.88 meters at the center and 0.92 meters at the ends. Regarding the playing surface, the back walls and part of the side walls are made of glass or acrylic to allow better game visibility. The remaining side walls can be made from metal mesh, depending on specific needs and preferences.
An additional safety area around the padel court is also recommended to allow safe player movement and ball retrieval outside the court boundaries.
These measurements ensure an appropriate space for playing padel, allowing players to enjoy the game safely and in line with international standards.
At Euronix, we specialize in the design, manufacturing, and installation of padel courts, so you can trust our team with your project. We will advise you based on your needs to provide a personalized solution.
Padel Court Installation Cost
The cost of installing a padel court can vary depending on several factors.
One of the main elements affecting the cost is the type of court to be built. There are outdoor and indoor padel courts, each with different structural and material requirements that influence the final price.
The type of surface also plays a crucial role. Courts can be made from artificial turf, concrete, or a mix of synthetic materials, each with its own advantages and associated costs. Additionally, the quality of materials used, such as glass for the walls or metal mesh for the sides, can vary, which also impacts the price.
Another significant factor is the project’s location. Costs may vary depending on the region, terrain, and specific site requirements for installation. For example, in areas with uneven ground, land preparation may increase the total cost.
Lighting is another aspect to consider. If a court is to be used at night, installing an adequate lighting system is essential and may add to the price.
And of course, the quality of materials and service customization also affect the final cost.
